Clean & Dry uses restorative structural drying. In the process, we have saved thousands of dollars for our customers each year following water-damage events. No longer does a water disaster require old-fashioned 'rip out and replace' methods of recovery. Clean & Dry can dry wallboard, insulation, paneling, ceiling tiles, masonry block and concrete, wooden and metal studding, plaster walls and other structural components.

    Construction Drying

Buildings under construction can be particularly susceptible to storm damage, water main breaks or leaks in unfinished roofs. Once inside the building, moisture is absorbed by structural materials, only to cause problems throughout construction and later. If your building has had severe water damage, call Clean & Dry. In days, Clean & Dry will create optimum conditions for finishing work, by deeply drying water locked inside walls, floors, masonry, wood structure, etc.

Eliminates Liability & Warranty Issues

                                  PROBLEMS ...

"Day 1: (Intermittent rain throughout the day): Transportation of the main timber sections forming wall plates, frame posts, main ties, stub ties, king posts, corner and intermediate posts to the building site took place despite the weather."

"Unfortunately, the entire week was rainy, the site was sloppy and muddy, but our spirits were not dampened! The weather cleared off long enough in the middle of the week to let us set the floor joists after the steel beam was set into place."

"Existing and new standards for the moisture content in structures and warranty  issues will make having a moisture report an essential part of the records of completion for many new structures."

Floor covering subcontractors won't guarantee their work if subflooring does not meet the manufacturer's standard for moisture content. Why risk buckling, delamination and adhesive failures? Clean & Dry can dry your subfloors to manufacturer's specs in record time.

A wide range of moisture related deterioration occurs after a building is water damaged. Wood swells, buckles or begins to rot, sheetrock loses rigidity and strength, electrical wiring corrodes, metal components rust, paint peels, and more. All of these effects can be arrested-and many reversed!-by the prompt employment of deep drying techniques.

SOLUTION ...

"The solution is simple: If the moisture readings are too high in the existing structure…dry the structure quickly before it can foster fungal (mold) growth.

This can be done as soon as the structure is complete enough to be sealed (doors and windows on).

Large industrial dehumidifiers and moisture monitoring equipment are the principle tools used to get results. Progress and results should be accurately documented as well.

Clean & Dry ends construction site moisture problems using dehumidification, instead of dangerous propane heaters or the building's A/C system. Clean & Dry dehumidifers continuously replace humid air inside the building with air which has been dehumidified. This extremely dry air has a low "vapor pressure." As a result, it attracts moisture molecules from wet surfaces--such as recently poured concrete, joint compound, freshly painted walls, stored building materials, etc.--allowing them to dry at an accelerated rate. Surface materials, like paint and "mud" dry in hours instead of days. Concrete slabs can meet specifications for coating or floor covering applications as much as twice as fast than normally would be expected. Likewise, staged materials, such as millwork or wood flooring don't absorb moisture.

SPECIALTY SERVICE:
On Site Construction Drying and Moisture Inspections

Our on site service to building contractors includes checking moisture content of building materials to identify any elevations in recommended readings and the means to rapidly dry materials to prevent mold problems post construction. Clean & Dry is the builder’s resource for peace of mind when mother nature “rains on your parade”.

At Clean & Dry we use state of the art equipment for measuring the moisture content of materials including wood, insulation, brick, drywall, and concrete. Non-invasive as well as invasive moisture meters are available. Meters are regularly calibrated and certified. All readings are digitally recorded and dated for documentation.

Upon completion of the project the builder and the customer will be provided with a “certification of dryness” for everyone’s peace of mind.

CUT THE COST OF WATER & MOLD DAMAGE RECOVERY

Floods, fires, earthquakes, pipe breaks, hurricanes, tornadoes and rainstorms all lead to the water damage of homes, offices, factories, schools, stores and other buildings. Clean & Dry drying services allow the restoration and preservation of these environments, while protecting them from traditional water damage problems such as structural deterioration, corrosion and biological problems

like mold and mildew. Clean & Dry provides a turnkey service which includes consultation to owners and insurers, expertise in drying all substances, equipment installation and careful monitoring of the process. The service helps disaster victims avoid substantial reconstruction, returns facilities to use quickly and generally offers a significant reduction in recovery costs.

GUARANTEED DRYING        HOW THE CLEAN & DRY PROCESS WORKS

Clean & Dry provides a dehumidification-based construction drying system.  Clean & Dry ends construction site moisture problems with dehumidification, instead of dangerous propane heaters or the building’s A/C system.  Clean & Dry dehumidifiers continuously replace humid air inside the building with air which has been dehumidified.  This extremely dry air has a low "vapor pressure."   As a result it attracts moisture molecules from wet surfaces - such as recently poured concrete, joint compound, freshly painted walls, stored building materials, etc. - allowing them to dry at an accelerated rate.  Clean & Dry provides a turnkey moisture reduction and management process for the builder during critical construction phases.  Clean & Dry provides a  dehumidification system to the job site and temporary ductwork to run throughout the construction project.  Accelerating the drying of such products as concrete, joint compound, and paint reduces overall construction cycle time.

Deeply dehumidified air, when exposed to water damaged environments, will attract water molecules from wet substances, such as wallboard, concrete block and wood floors, drying them. After a flood, the ambient air is too humid to attract the molecules and dry the objects quickly. Thus, not using Clean & Dry services can result in the loss of property from deterioration or biological contamination.

HIGH TECH DRYING EQUIPMENT SAVES YOU MONEY

Time and time again satisfied customers tell us how our services seem miraculous! Sometimes-in just days!-we help them go from total devastation to business as usual. Here are some of the ways Clean & Dry can help after water damage:

 WATER DAMAGE REVERSAL

Clean & Dry practices structural drying. In the process, we have saved thousands of dollars for our customers each year following water-damage disasters. No longer does a water disaster require old-fashioned 'rip out and replace' methods of recovery. Clean & Dry can dry wallboard, insulation, paneling, ceiling tiles, masonry block and concrete, wooden and metal studding, plaster walls and other structural components.

RESTORING VALUABLE WOOD FLOORS

Powerful suction panels allow Clean & Dry to restore wood floors : Whether in schools, gyms, department stores, theaters or homes, Clean & Dry  techniques can literally reverse buckling, cupping and swelling. In humid conditions, wood flooring and fine finishes can absorb moisture directly from the air causing warping, cupping and expansion. These factors play havoc with installations. Floors with large 'waves' have been dried and gradually returned to their normal condition, saving tens of thousands of dollars.

INHIBITING BIOLOGICAL GROWTH

Tests have shown that buildings dried by the Clean & Dry method immediately after rain water flooding have benefited significantly from a lower level of pathogenic growth. Bacteria, mold, mildew and other allergens all prosper where dampness is allowed to exist for extended periods. With today's concern for 'sick building syndrome' and indoor air quality, Clean & Dry becomes an important ally in the healthful restoration of a building.
